What was the Problem?

The school children of Djarkpanga needed new equipment to support them with their academic work for the new school year. The equipment they needed included pens, pencils, rulers, rubbers, books, and a school uniform (called kaki). We, at DDDT, wanted to help but only had enough funds to provide this equipment to some children.

How did DDDT Help?

We had the funds to donate this equipment to 12 students. We decided to provide this to the top two performing students across 6 schools in Djarkpanga. This was to reward the children that had worked really hard and made the best progress.

What have the outcomes been?

As a result, these 12 students have the equipment they need to continue with their studies. It also provides encouragement to the other students to study to the best of their abilities as we are sure that there will be many more star students to come in the future. We, at the DDDT, look forward to rewarding other students in the future.
