Following on from the success of the last football tournament in December 2022, DDDT organised a football match between the A and B Teams for FC Atakora. The ‘A Team’ includes 11 players and the ‘B Team’ is formed by all the substitutes. On the 23rd July, the whole of Djarkpanga gathered around to watch the match. The children in Djarkpanga, who have an avid interest in football were inspired to want to become footballers themselves.

At the end of the match, the DDDT gifted the home team ‘Away Kits’ which they were thrilled to receive. In addition, ‘Away Kits’ were also gifted to the Atakora Youth Team which were donated from the Allenton United U15 Team based in Derby within the UK.
